Our staff is as diverse and talented a group as you could wish for. A multi-cultural team, with tremendous experience and knowledge around wine but also a real desire to innovate and progress. The average length of service here is over eight years - against an industry average of five, and there are people here with twenty years’ experience and more. From the buying team to the warehouse and customer services, our wealth of experience in all areas of the business means greater understanding and meeting your customer needs.

James Stoddart

New Business Development Manager

James has worked in the hospitality industry for all of his professional career. Successful spells managing city bars, restaurants and country pubs (all Enotria clients) enabled James to see the portfolio develop into the award-winning list it is today and, also, see first hand the importance of supplier/customer relationship

"At 28 I fancied a change from front of house, Enotria gave me a chance, and I've never looked back. Its a fast-paced industry with lots of challenges, but you learn every day and no day is the same. Michelle Ng

Graphic Design Manager

Unusually, Michelle joined Enotria in pursuit of developing her graphic design skills. A healthy four years, numerous tastings and several hundred designs later, she has been able to apply her creative skills to the trade, with the added bonus of discovering the world of wine:

“I’ve always enjoyed dining at new restaurants and trying different wines. Working at Enotria has provided me with the opportunity to explore the different varieties. Whether you are on the front line or the back office, everyone is encouraged to develop and expand their wine knowledge through WSET courses and Knowledge Sharing sessions.”

In addition to managing a team of 5, Michelle supports a handful of the salesforce. When she isn’t on the phone to a customer discussing their wine list, you can find her buried in numbers!

Patrick Pigny

South West Sales

Patrick grew up, thanks to both grandfathers' immersion in the trade, with "incredible wines on the dinner table". After working in Michelin-starred restaurants in his native Arras, Patrick came to the UK twenty years ago. He first knew Great Western Wine as a supplier, before eventually swapping sides (via a spell driving the delivery van) and realising his unbounded enthusiasm for wine and food made him a brilliant salesman for the former!

Since Great Western joined the Enotria lineup in 2010, Patrick has continued to enjoy "spreading the wine gospel , and more importantly learning something new every day from customers, colleagues and competitors."
