| Enotria Winecellars believes strongly in training, whether internal or external.
The Sales Team has regular training from suppliers and undertakes a programme of supplier visits throughout the year.
Enotria has an in-house wine training programme available for all members of staff and also subscribes to the Wine and Spirit Education Trust courses.
Since becoming Wine and Spirit Education Trust Approved Programme Providers in March 2007 we have completed five Foundation and four Intermediate Courses. We are delighted with the very positive feedback we have received from our internal and external candidates and would like to announce our current statistics.
Pass Rate:
Foundation – 94% (WSET Global average 88%)
Intermediate – 95% (WSET Global average 90%)
Average % results:
Foundation - 88%
Intermediate - 76% (Merit)
The WSET courses are internationally recognised qualifications providing greater wine knowledge and understanding of the industry. It can also provide a wealth of career opportunities in the hospitality and retail trades.
