MARQUES DE RISCAL FRANK GEHRY SELECTION 2001 RECEIVES THE HIGHEST SCORE IN THE GUÍA REPSOL 2009 ( the 2009 REPSOL GUIDE)

Marques de Riscal's exclusive Frank Gehry cuvee won the top score in the Guia Repsol 2009, one of Spain's top wine guides. It scored an incredible 99 points! Meanwhile there were also top scores for

Barón de Chirel 2003, Marqués de Riscal 150 Aniversario and Marqués de Riscal Reserva
2004 were given 95 points.

The Marqués de Riscal wine, Frank Gehry Selection 2001, heads the list of 75 Spanish wines

which make up the Honours Board of the Guía Repsol 2009 (2009 Repsol Guide). Its 99 points

have earned it this ranking, as this Honours Board only includes those wines which have

scored over 95 out of 100 over a series of successive tastings.

This wine is a limited edition, with only 5,000 bottles made, which was launched to mark the

inauguration of the City of Wine, with a label designed by the renowned Canadian architect.

In addition, Marqués de Riscal winery also earned high scores for several other wines, the

Barón de Chirel 2003, Marqués de Riscal 150 Aniversario, Marqués de Riscal Reserva 2004

and Rueda Verdejo 2007 which were all awarded 95 points,
