Matthew Jukes has just announced his latest hotly awaited Top 100 Australian Wines. Enotria have notched up a record 12 wines from this year's hot 100. Here they are, with excerpts of Matthew's inimitable tasting notes:

Kooyong Beurrot Pinot Gris 09

... Unapologetically broad and with bustling fruit under its skirts this is an old school, buxom beauty
Peter Lehmann Wigan Riesling 05

... '05 Wigs is even more aromatic and captivating than the '04

Skillogalee Hand Picked Riesling 10

... this is a hauntingly aromatic wine which wears its heart on its sleeve

Hart & Hunter Semillon 10

... beautifully balanced 11.5% wine is set to be a star performer in the UK
Xanadu Estate Chardonnay 09

... extraordinary good value for money, Xanadu has in a very short space of time put its wines on the same page as Vasse Felix and Leeuwin.
Riposte The Dagger Pinot Noir 10

... youthful and desperately dashing, D'Artagnan himself must surely be the model for this flashing blade. Every bloke needs a bottle of this in his briefcase for emergency purposes.
Parker Estate First Growth 06

... It satiates every Cabernet nerve ending in your body.
Heartland Dolcetto Lagrein 09

...Drink it with a rogan josh and let your mind boggle away!

Glaetzer Anaperenna 09

... Shiraz-dominant but still parading an incredible squadron of Cabernet cassis flavours...

Glaetzer Bishop Shiraz 09

... mercurial polish and skill of its eponymous winemaker... send in the big guns!

Mount Langi Shiraz 06

... One of the leading lights in Australia... captures everything that is raw and real about the soil...
Peter Lehmann Stonewell Shiraz 06

... This is a sensationally well balanced wine with clarity of message and freshness on its not inconsiderable finish.
