  2. 2013 Côtes du Rhône Blanc, Laudun Chusclan

    2012 Spice Trader, Heartland

    (6x75cl)

A burst of intense primary fruit greets the palate with blueberries, blackberries and currants. These powerful fruit notes give way to waves of spices.

  4. 2011 Valpolicella Classico Ripasso, Acinatico DOC, Accordini

Intense ruby red with a bouquet of red cherries, spice and vanilla. Full bodied on the palate, warming, fruit-forward with juicy cherries and a floral twist.

  5. 2008 Beaune 1er Cru Les Theurons, Domaine Régis Rossignol Changarnier

Transparent red colour. Musky, chocolaty fruit; slightly mature-smelling. Real development of fruit aroma in the glass over time. On the palate, sweet, delicate fruit, slightly gamey. Excellent length, subtle fruit, light tannin.

  6. 2007 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva, Fattoria dei Barbi

Brick red in colour with earthy brown edges. The nose is pronounced and complex, offering an entertaining array of red and black berry fruits, spices and oaky aromas. The palate is medium to full bodied with a richly complex middle and an everlasting, elegant finish. The tannic structure that dominated the wine in its youth is beginning to mellow and allow mature, secondary characteristics to show. A stunning wine with enormous appeal.

  7. 2008 The Ironstone Pressings GSM, d'Arenberg

On the nose we are struck by the typical dark fruits. Plums, mulberries, fresh soil and more developed peaty like notes are all apparent, with an underlying lick of exotic Indian spice.
An abundance of fresh fruits on the palate marry well with the more complex characters of quince paste, cinnamon, nutmeg, star anise and earthy beetroot. Driving the core of the wine is that vintage trademark in the form of graphite and wet stone. This wine, while appearing open and generous already, will continue to age well thanks to the lively line of acidity and the abundance of fine gritty tannins.

  8. 2013 Bacchus, Kenton Vineyard
    whitewine

    2013 Bacchus, Kenton Vineyard

    (6x75cl)

Made 100% from Bacchus grapes grown at the vineyard, this is a highly aromatic, slightly off dry wine with classic Bacchus elderflower notes.

  9. 2013 Rosato Veronese IGT, Veritiere

Soft, red fruit flavours abound on the palate with a crisp freshness that is both balanced and versatile. This wine makes delicious summer drinking.

  10. 2011 The Navigator, Strandveld

Aromas of cool-climate spice with white pepper and cloves. The spiciness carries through to the palate and is complemented by black berry flavours, with floral hints courtesy of the Viognier. The Grenache contributes dried-peach tannins. The wine has an ageing potential of 5 – 10 years.
