  1. 2010 The Noble Mud Pie Viognier Roussanne, d'Arenberg

The Viognier is clearly evident on the nose with notes of apricot nectar, ginger, yellow peach blossom and dried citrus peel. Further investigation reveals some lovely florals, spice and a hint of nut characters from the Roussanne. The palate is thick, luscious and powerful. It's full-on botrytis with enormous fruit, spice and floral lift. It's surprisingly complex with dried peach, ripe grapefruit and a hint of rose water adding to the palate. This wine is spectacularly luscious and flavor packed. It will be a fun match to a range of desserts and cheeses at the end of a meal.

  2. 2013 La Copa de Bobal, Bodegas Covinas

La Copa de Bobal is a deep purple with a herbaceous nose and a juicy palate displaying well-integrated tannin and lovely black cherry and plum fruit profile

  3. 2012 Sauvignon Gris, Kadun Vineyard, Viña Leyda

Pale straw colour with simple aroma of lime and spice. Very clean and crisp palate with light lime flavours and a touch of floweriness. Tropical fruits also evident finishing with a twist of sherbet.

  4. 2013 Trebbiano Chardonnay Passetto, Umani Ronchi

A young wine of straw yellow colour with light golden tints, delicate aromas which recall those of unripe apples and wild flowers. To the taste it is delicate yet has plenty of lively fresh fruit and penetrating flavours.

    2013 Viognier Reserva, De Gras

    (6x75cl)

This exotic, sumptuously rich wine is packed with aromas of ripe tropical fruit and flowers. It is full bodied, dripping with juicy nectarine, melon and papaya flavours, finishing rounded and succulent.

  6. 2011 Organic Cabernet Sauvignon, Soleus

Deep brooding purple in colour with a vibrant nose of blackcurrant fruit, hints of liquorice and a touch of oak. The palate is full bodied but soft and juicy, packed with brambly briar fruit flavours, hints of spice and the oak makes a luxurious return on the finish.

  7. 2010 The High Trellis Cabernet Sauvignon, d'Arenberg

Cooler years in McLaren Vale always lead to incredibly expressive and highly varietal Cabernets.
The High Trellis is no exception with an abundance of blackcurrant, violets and minty notes leaping from the glass.
Beautiful bright purple fruits dominate the palate, countered by typical Cabernet characters such as red capsicum skin and fresh mint.
The wine feels quite linear at this stage of its development and the combination of fruit and fine chalky tannins seems to go on and on endlessly.
A wine that can be savoured now or allowed to develop for the next five to 10 years.

  8. 2013 Pretty Gorgeous Rosé, IGP Pays d'Oc

A delightful and dainty rosé, ideal during the warmer months. Intense lychee and strawberry notes are greeted with hints of violet and good acidity enabling the wine to be sipped as an aperitif or paired with food.

  9. 2011 Heyden's Courage White, Welmoed

A festival of flavours coming from a blend of Sauvignon, Viognier, Verdelho and Gewurztraminer. Notes of honeyed peach and a smooth finish.

  10. 2013 Sancerre Cuvée Insolite, Domaine Franck Millet

Pronounced, expressive nose of green fruits, fresh cut grass and minerals. The palate is clean and ultra crisp; medium bodied and packed with greengage, lime and gooseberry fruit. The finish is clean, showing a real sense of place through its minerality.
