  1. 2009 Gimblett Gravels Tempranillo, Trinity Hill

Wild raspberry and plum fruit aromas with spice and a little vanilla from oak barrels. This is an elegant wine with firm but not heavy tannin structure. The texture is silky and there is great persistence of wild fruit flavours on the finish.

  2. 2011 Black Label Gewurztraminer, Yealands

A bright lemon/gold colour with an aromatic nose with notes of lychee and ginger. It is slightly drier in style than the 2009 vintage, yet elegant with a more refined phenolic structure and fresh acidity on the finish. The lychee and ginger flavours also dominate the palate.

  3. 2012 Sauvignon Blanc, Mansion House Bay

Straw green. Gooseberry, redcurrant and lemon aromas, full and assertive on the nose and palate. Medium to full bodied with vibrant acidity intertwined with crisp fruits. Finishes with a zesty, long finish.

  4. 2010 Organic Pinot Noir, Urlar

An enticing nose of ripe red fruits which combine beautifully with flavours of sweet dark plums intermingled with savoury notes and exotic spices. This wine is elegant and refined but with real weight and power.

  5. 2011 Hawkes Bay Chardonnay, Trinity Hill

Typical fruit characters from Hawkes Bay Chardonnay such as grapefruit and melon are supplemented by biscuity characters with a light butteriness. The wine is rich and round, with soft acidity and attractive sweet fruit.

  6. 2011 Black Label Riesling, Yealands Estate

Pale straw in colour with a pure nose of lemon and lime. Dry in style, this riesling is focused and steely, with a wonderful balance between the refreshing, racy acidity and purity of fruit.

  7. 2011 Hawkes Bay Trinity (Syrah/Merlot/Cabernet Franc), Trinity Hill

The blackberry and black pepper nuances of Syrah, the leather and plum aromas of Merlot and the lifted red currant character of Cabernet Franc have combined to produce a complex, fruit dominated wine. The oak aging has added a further dimension to the wine without being obvious. Its richness with firm, ripe tannins make this wine extremely serious yet eminently drinkable.

  8. NV Méthode Traditionnelle, Quartz Reef

A nose of Granny Smith apples with a hint of strawberries and cream. Refreshing, vibrant, moreish on the palate with fruity acidity and biscuity complexity.

  9. 2011 Black Label, Pinot Noir Rosé, Yealands

Light salmon in colour with pretty and delicate notes of red berries and cream. The red berries continue on the palate with great texture and finishes with mouth-watering acidity.

  10. 2010 Pinot Noir, Carrick Winery

Complex, rich and elegant Pinot Noir tasting of intense ripe cherries, spice and liquorice. Plenty
of richness on the palate and length on the finish.
