  1. 2010 Barolo DOCG Sorano, Ascheri

A garnet red colour. Ethereal bouquet, intense tar with a scent of dried flowers and a mineral note. A rich palate, balance and mature tannins contribute to its harmoney, distinction and intensity. A remarkably classy wine, with exceptional richness and tipicity.

  2. 2008 Barolo DOCG, Sori Ginestra, Conterno Fantino

A complex wine with classic aromas of melting tar and violets, lots of figs and rich notes of chamois leather. Pretty complex, of medium weight and with a very fine finish.

  3. 2009 Barolo DOCG, Fontanafredda

Classic dark 'tar' and perfumed 'roses' on the nose, light in colour but with great power, concentration and well balanced ripe tannins. This is a wine to match with rich foods and game dishes.

    2010 Barolo Mosconi, E. Pira

    (6x75cl)

"The 2010 Barolo Mosconi, the estate's first wine from this south-facing site in Monforte, is showing beautifully today. In this cold, late-ripening vintage, the south exposition and richness typical of this site give the Mosconi a level of mid-palate pliancy and richness the other 2010 Barolos don't have. Mosconi has never given Barolos of finesse or elegance, but this is just about as good as it gets. 95 points", Antonio Galloni

  5. 2007 Barolo DOCG, Vigna La Rosa, Fontanafredda

The Vigna La Rosa Barolo is harmonious, well-rounded and elegant in taste; its very fine and delicate bouquet is reminiscent of faded roses and, with the ageing process, tends to acquire a pronounced earthy style but with a velvety sort of taste.

  6. 2010 Sudisfa Roero Nebbiolo, Azienda Agricola Negro

Intense garnet red colour with lively tonality.Fragrance of dry fruits, jam, vanilla and green pepper. The taste is complete with wide structure and sweet silky tannin. The back taste is full bodied, warm and ethereal.

  7. 2010 Barolo Cannubi, E. Pira

    2010 Barolo Cannubi, E. Pira

    (6x75cl)

The intense and brilliant colour perfectly expresses the polyphenols of a very successful Nebbiolo. On the nose it develops gradually its richness; the initially fruity and spicy aromas envelop notes of sour cherry and raspberry, while hints of cocoa and vanilla make the bouquet even more intriguing

  8. 2012 Ginestrino Nebbiolo d'Alba DOC, Conterno Fantino

Very Lively ruby colour with garnet reflections; persistent and appealing bouquet with rose and peach notes. Soft and rounded on the palate with good structure and mature tannin.

  9. 2009 Negro Barbaresco Cru Cascinotta

Light ruby in the glass with garnet on the rim. Classic Nebbiolo aromas of tar and roses on the nose backed up with an intensely peachy fruit on the palate. Highly concentrated but elegant, smooth tannins on the fresh, accessible palate with well-balanced oaking and vanilla spiciness. Very elegant finish.

  10. 2008 Barolo Vigna del Gris DOCG, Conterno Fantino

A behemoth of a nose, concentrated, complex and commanding. The palate is full and structured but surprisingly well rounded with black fruit, liquorice and mocha flavours, hints of rose petal and a defiant finish.
