  1. 2010 Château La Tuilerie des Combes, Lussac St. Emilion

Beautifully developed garnet-red in colour. Shows a very ripe nose of concentrated fruits of the forest and a dense palate reminiscent of black cherries and chocolate with pretty notes of liquorice and eucalyptus. The typicaly bordelaise structure is flexible, with soft, rounded tannins that bring a balance and add length to the palate which finishes dry and clean.

  2. 2008 Gevrey-Chambertin, Domaine Dugat

Classic Burgundian Pinot Noir nose of raspberries overlaid with a touch of spiciness. On the palate the wine is medium weight displaying the fresh acidity characteristic of many 2008 Côte de Nuits reds. Tannin structure is firm, but ripe, and there is plenty of pure Pinot fruit flavour to give the wine remarkable on the palate.

  3. 2011 Château des Gravières, Collection Prestige, Graves

Deep garnet-red with a slightly woody and toasted nose and aromas of prunes and liquorice. Fleshy, robust and well-balanced in the mouth with a firm, lengthy finish.

  4. 2013 Rosé, Kenton

    2013 Rosé, Kenton

    (6x75cl)

Lovely soft rose with ripe summer fruit notes on the nose, which follow through onto the palate, and a long finish. 12% alcohol

  5. 2013 Costadune Frappato Syrah, Mandrarossa

Intense purple red, very fruity on the nose with fleshy summer fruit on the palate.

  6. 2010 Basket Pressed Cabernets, Skillogalee

This Cabernet blend is another dark, rich wine in the Skillogalee tradition, with intense colour and powerful, warm aromas and flavours. The wine is full and soft with sweet, leafy fruit flavours, rich vanillin oak and firm drying tannins on a lingering finish.

  7. 2012 Crozes Hermitage Papillon, Domaine Gilles Robin

Wow - immediate dancing Syrah perfume of plums and violets. Vibrant and exciting, lots going on. Great texture and balance between front-mid-end palate. Has freshness as well as opulence, tannin is very fine and well-textured and there’s great sustain of flavour on the finish.

  8. 2005 Alpha, Champagne Jacquart

    2005 Alpha, Champagne Jacquart

    (6x75cl)

Elegant and expressive on the nose, this champagne combines great power with precision and finesse.

  9. 2007 Pinot Gris Réserve Personnelle, Trimbach

Toasted nuts, marzipan and salinity underscore the peach and apple fruit here. A hint of honey adds nobility and relatively high acidity adds primary juiciness in the long, fascinatingly smoky, nutty, and mineral finish.

  10. 2009 Le Passule, Librandi
    dessert

    2009 Le Passule, Librandi

    (6x50cl)

Aromatic and unctuous on the nose with plenty of dried fruit and grapey aromas. Lovely spicy fruit combines with well balanced acidity, a sweet but not overly heavy palate and an attractive creamy soft finish to round off the wine beautifully.
