  1. 2010 Condrieu Les Chaillets, Vieilles Vignes, Domaine Cuilleron

Wonderfully opulent and perfumed on the nose with dollops of honey allied to blossom and spicy complexity. The palate is rich and full again with great acidity, giving the wine and exceptional balance, and we suspect longevity.

  2. 2008 Châteauneuf du Pape, Vieilles Vignes, Domaine de la Janasse

Full bodied and deep with flavours of smoke, kirsch and cherry like fruit. Well developed with well rounded, ripe tannins and a rich, powerful, velvety finish.

  3. 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon, Stellenbosch, Thelema

This wine has a complex nose of mint, blackcurrant and chocolate and the palate is juicy and ripe. There is a good layer of toasty oak in the background to complement the black cherry and cassis fruit flavours and grippy mid-palate tannin. Very long, clean and elegant on the finish.

  4. 2009 Merlot Stellenbosch, Thelema

Deep, brooding purple in colour with some brick red highlights. The nose has pretty red-fruit characters with some hints of spices such as cinnamon and liquorice. The palate is juicy, broad and ripe, packed with red and black berry fruits, a firm, well integrated oaky structure and a bold, well defined finish which makes it a great food wine.

  5. 2010 Chardonnay, Thelema

    2010 Chardonnay, Thelema

    (6x75cl)

Has a rich, bright, golden yellow hue and an aromatic, complex nose of lime marmalade, guava and melon fruit and toasty oak nuances. The palate is medium to full bodied and rounded, packed with luscious tropical fruit flavours, a delicious mineral streak and well integrated, nutty oak which lends a creamy texture in the mouth. Finishes soft and succulent.

  6. 2009 Monprà Nebbiolo/Barbera Langhe Rosso DOC, Conterno Fantino

Its deep colour is a reminder of the limited yields of the estate, while the richness of the well defined and elegant aromas tell of a perfect microclimate. All the density and extreme warmth on the palate have been perfectly assimilated by the oak and the finish is almost glossy and endless.

  7. 2001 Barbera d'Alba Riserva, Roberto Pozzo Annunziata, Voerzio

Big, expressive nose of spicy black fruits with gobs of vanilla, the palate is full but soft, offering great depth and character with a medley of ripe forrest fruit flavours, well defining structure and a rich vein of spicy vanilla that highlights the soft finish beautifuly.

  8. 2003 Cuvée Dom Pérignon, Moët et Chandon

It is pale yellow in colour with shades of straw and on the nose has initial aromas of acacia honey and fresh almonds giving away to notes of dried apricots and toasted brioche. On the palate the wine is full, round and complete with balancing acidity, and a long, silky elegant finish.

  9. NV Prosecco Santo Stefano DOC (VSQPRD), Ruggeri

This is a classic prosecco with fine bubbles and a fragrant nose of freshly baked bread and ripe fruit. On the palate it is full with a pleasant vein of acidity and a very slightly semi-sweet background which balances the flavours and adds length.

  10. 2004 Château Haut Bernat, Puisseguin St Emilion

Merlot dominated, soft, yet structured claret from the 'right banks'. The wine has ripe tannins and excellent fruit concentration, yet elegant.
