The palate is an intoxicating mix of stone fruit purity with an edgy flintiness. Vanillin oak spice richness finishing with a crisp, clean acid tail.

    Concentrated and complex nose with lovely ripe, intense fruit of black cherry and plums. Fine French oak adds a toasty, smoky aroma. The palate is full, plush and concentrated with great poise and velvety tannins. It has a long, persistent finish.

    Very complex in quite full-on style that splits the difference between, say, Mornington and Russian River Valley. Great sweetness. Spicy and flattering – quite long. 17/20 - Jancis Robinson MW
