  1. 2011 Pinot Blanc, Trimbach
    whitewine

    2011 Pinot Blanc, Trimbach

    (12x37.5cl)

This classic Pinot Blanc really encapsulates the Trimbach style: fermented completely dry, with a firm structure, lovely lemony fruit with lots of breadth, a minerally backbone and a truly elegant poise and balance.

  2. 2001 Riesling Frédéric Emile SGN, Trimbach

Deep Gold. On the nose there is an almost Gewurztraminer-like brown spice. The palate is round and broad with apple and plum jam, honey and brown spice. The high acidity is well-disguised by the concentrated baked fruit flavours with a mouth feel that refrains from being cloying. Age is likely to reveal so much more.

  3. 2007 Gewurztraminer Reserve, Trimbach

With its years of bottle age, this wine has taken on a medium gold colour in the glass and the nose shows complex development as the primary lychee fruit segues into beeswax and camomile. In the palate there are lush lemons and mouthfilling grapiness, tropical fruit and a hint of smoke.

  4. NV Poire Williams Eau de Vie d'Alsace, Trimbach

Pure intense aromas of sweet pear pulp. Powerful fruity flavours with warming alcohol and a smooth mouthfeel. Clean finish.

  5. 2005 Riesling Cuvee Frederic Emile. Trimbach

Very attractive already, quite powerful nose. Full bodied wine with intensity, depth and beautiful mineral flavour. Rich, ripe acidity in the palate. Great personality and finesse.

  6. 2007 Pinot Gris Réserve Personnelle, Trimbach

Toasted nuts, marzipan and salinity underscore the peach and apple fruit here. A hint of honey adds nobility and relatively high acidity adds primary juiciness in the long, fascinatingly smoky, nutty, and mineral finish.

  7. 2000 Pinot Gris Vendange Tardive, Trimbach

The botrytized, apricot and mango-scented wine has bags of elegance. It is medium bodied, beautifully structured and very well-balanced. White peaches are explicitly evident adding complexity to this powerful, delicate and silky smooth wine.

  8. 2011 Muscat Réserve, Trimbach
    whitewine

    2011 Muscat Réserve, Trimbach

    (6x75cl)

Bone-dry with an intensely-scented grapey nose. On the palate it has a food-friendly mineral bite, high notes of lemons, grapes and blossom, and a refreshing backbone of natural acidity.

  9. 2001 Gewurztraminer SGN, Trimbach

Peaches and nectarines abound on the nose, along with scents of lemon, rose and beeswax. The wine manages to be both extremely concentrated and yet very easy to taste, with brilliantly balanced acidity. One of the great Trimbach wines.

  10. 2011 Pinot Noir Réserve, Trimbach

The wine is light and herby on the palate with vibrant strawberry and cherry flavours. Round and structured, the more intense, vegetal characters will develop with bottle age in place of the primary red fruit flavours. The wine is medium bodied and has perfect, soft tannin. A classic expression of Alsace Pinot noir, traditionally served chilled.
