  5. 2012 Sancerre, Domaine des Vieux Pruniers

A concentrated wine with a big personality. The nose is clean and fresh with enticing lemon and leafy green aromas. The palate is full of citrus and mineral fruits leading into the dry, crisp, lengthy finish.

  6. 2011 Rioja Rosado, Marqués de Riscal

A wine with a deep raspberry-pink colour, bright and lively. On the nose it has lovely strawberry and raspberry aromas mingled with hints of blossom. In the mouth it is fresh, smooth and balanced with a pleasant finish full of crisp, acid sensations.

  7. 2012 Riesling, Mansion House Bay

Highly aromatic, displaying lively grapefruit and citrus characters. Medium bodied and intensely varietal in character, dripping with green apple, lime and grapefruit flavours with subtle hints of honey and finishing with a steely, mineral streak.

  8. 2009 Meursault 1er Cru Les Cras, Maison Henri Boillot

Aromas of white spices, vanilla, minerals, citrus and understated ripe tropical fruits are abundant on the nose. Stylish winemaking shows through with judicious use of oak to balance and add complexity on the clean, lifted palate which echos the nose with pineapple, melon, peach and pineapple fruits, creamy vanilla and slightly spicey characters. The finish is delightful, fresh and lively, persistant and ending with a soft, creamy lick.

  9. 2011 Estate Malbec, Humberto Canale Patagonia

It shows off a very refined style, both in the nose and in the mouth. Its careful oak cask ageing gives the wine an ultimate dimension that turns it into an irresistible one. A full bodied wine, with complex structure and surprising notes of red berries, eucalyptus, spice and black pepper. After a year in the bottle, it becomes more unctuous in character, intense and concentrated.

  10. NV Brut di Pinot Nero Rosé VS, Ruggeri

Cherry red with salmon pink highlights and a finely textured, consistent mousse. The nose is fresh, fragrant and inviting, offering light red fruit aromas and hints of biscuity yeast. On the palate the wine is medium bodied and dry, but posessed of a ripe cranberry fruit intensity that balances the bubbles and the crisp finish beautifully.
