  1. Ch Plaisance 10 St Emilion 6/75

Deep ruby in the glass with concentrated black fruit and oak aromas. On the palate, the wine is powerful, with classy wood treatment and a wonderfully rich, sensuous structure and a long finish. Watchwords are accessibility, concentration and supple balance.

  2. 2009 El Picon, Pago de los Capellanes

A deep, dark cherry-coloured with extraordinary intensity and complexity. Blackberries and floral notes are detected first on the nose. The fruit is well-integrated with the wood, displaying spicy aromas from the French oak; cinnamon, leather, tobacco, truffle and black liquorice. Sweet, smooth tannins coat the palate and the mouth is full-bodied and persistant with an array of complex flavours.

  3. Vina Cerrada 05 Rioja Gran Reserva 6/75

Ruby Red colour with medium intensity. This wine has very ripe fruits of sultanas and compote on the nose, accompanied by cinnamon, vanilla and toast. A sweet attack on the pallet of ripe fruit and liquorice with a long, luscious finish.

  4. Unoaked Chardonnay 14 Mandrarossa 6/75

Rich, ripe green apple aromas with some hints of macadamia nuts and honey. Soft and rich, ripe, fruity palate, leading to a long, rounded finish.

  5. C. Passarella A Descoberta White 14 6/75

Great elegance with a firm freshness. Cirus fruits with nderlying hints of rosemary and sage.

  6. 2011 Fay Cabernet Sauvignon, Stag's Leap Wine Cellars

A single vineyard, estate grown wine from Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars, the winery which put California on the wine map in 1976 when it beat Bordeaux’s best in a blind tasting competition that became known as the Judgement of Paris. The fruit for this Cabernet Sauvignon was sourced from the Fay Vineyard, one of the great sites in the Napa Valley; these complex grapes create a wine which shows an abundance of supple red and blackberry character, voluptuous perfume and a luscious, fine-grained texture. As well as the layers of bright, smooth fruit, the wine shows hints of red liquorice, black tea and sage, culminating in a lingering floral note on the finish.

  7. 2013 Barbera d'Alba DOC, Vignota, Conterno Fantino

A wine ruby red in appearance with cherry reflections. Elegantly scented with pleasant notes of cherry and sour cherry. Very rich extractions on the palate, persistent but simultaneously soft.

  8. Padstal Chardonnay 14 MAN Family 6/75

This refreshing style of Chardonnay is made with a touch of oak for added complexity and richness. Melon, tropical fruit and citrus aromas, a rounded palate with butterscotch notes and prominent fruit flavours.

  9. Sutherland Pinot Noir 12 Thelema 6/75

The wine is light and clean, with earthy wild strawberry and raspberry flavours, and a perfumed and elegant finish.

  10. Director's Cut Shiraz 12 Heartland 6/75

The 2012 Directors' Cut Shiraz is a deep ruby in colour, with splashes of violet. The nose displays beautifully articulated dark fruits, cherries and cassis with hints of spice box and anise. Seductively rich on the palate, flavours of dark chocolate and plums integrate with supple, focused tannin and and impressive length.
