All the fun of the Wine Fair

So the London Wine Fair is over for another year, and the experience of standing (and walking) for 9 hours a day is put back in the cupboard in favour of sitting at my desk for the same amount of time. It’s a bizarre contrast, but judging by opinion from colleagues and other companies, the fair was a success, even if it seemed by eye to be more sparsely attended than in previous years.
I really enjoyed the Wine Gang Top 100. There is something about the chance to taste through an eclectic lineup chosen by people whose opinions you respect which is great fun and stimulating – a bit like looking through a record collection. I tried to play the game of ‘which Wine Gang member chose this wine?’ which is fun when you are familiar with the types of wine each often recommends.
