The tasting takes shape

It’s always a looong process putting the annual tasting together. 70 producers from around the world to be invited and accomodated, over 450 wines to be ordered and arranged, invitations, tasting books, food for customers and all the other bits and pieces to be agreed. But finally, as the big day looms, the event acquires a kind of critical mass of its own.
Now I can’t wait til Monday! Must remember to take a corkscrew…
