Job title: New Business Account Manager
Location: Central & South Midlands (Beds, North Oxon, Bucks, Gloucester, Hereford)
We are looking a new business account manger in the Central & South Midlands area. This person will be responsible for identifying targets, gaining knowledge of existing customers, preparing and implementing an overall plan for development of business within your area, driving sales forward by building relationships with key decision makers and take full ownership of the trading relationships, strategy development and profit delivery from your area.
A successful candidate will have excellent Wine knowledge to Advanced WSET level, with ideally particular expertise in Italian wines. Strong selling skills, with an ability to build relationships make proposals and close deals in a timely manner.
Experience of handling sales negotiation / business development . Good IT skills with the ability to use the company’s systems for communication and customer management to a high level of competence. A sound knowledge and understanding of the on-trade, ideally field sales experience or other relevant/similar experience in wine trade.
