Marqués de la Concordia is one of the most exciting wine projects in Rioja. With its brand new winery in Laguardia, in Rioja Alavesa, and surrounded by its own vineyards, the Concordia estate is the highest in the region, sitting in the shadow of the Cantabrian Mountains - a dramatic backdrop. The critically acclaimed Hacienda Susar, a 17-hectare estate in Rioja Baja, is also part of the Marqués de la Concordia project. This estate has been granted unique experimental status by the Consejo in Rioja, allowing the use of international grape varieties such as Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot as well as the indigenous Tempranillo. |
