Intriga
Maipo (Chile)
Intriga was originally founded in 1865 under the name “Linderos” by Don Alejandro Reyes, a pioneer of Chilean viticulture. The vineyard consists of 230 hectares planted with 10 to 40 year old vines, and it is located only 30 minutes from Santiago in the Maipo region. The land is exclusively dedicated to production of premium red wines: Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenère, Cabernet Franc and Syrah. Today, although the old winery and vines remain, new and innovative vineyard management techniques are applied and modern equipment is used. Intriga’s Winemaker, Cristián Correa, focuses on producing wines which are a true reflection of Maipo’s unique terroir. He is aided by an internationally acclaimed consultant winemaker from Italy, Alberto Antonini.
