The Poliziano estate, established in 1961, now stretches over 240 hectares, including 50 hectares for the production of Vino Nobile and 25 hectares for Rosso di Montepulciano. With their new gravity-designed winery operational, Poliziano have raised the bar of excellence once again, technology proving to be the winemaker’s friend, not its master. All their wines retain the classic characteristics of the Prugnolo Gentile grape variety with a strong influence from the terroir. Their mighty Asinone Vino Nobile 2007 won Tre Bicchieri (three glasses) in the Gambero Rosso 2011.
