Jean Panis set out on a career as a sound engineer for theatre, TV and rock concerts before taking over his father’s estate of 45 hectares in Minervois in 1996. His first vintage won the highest award in the French wine guide, Guide Hachette, and he has not sat back following this auspicious start. More recently Robert Parker also awarded the wines high scores – justifiable praise for wines that combine ripeness and suppleness with real Southern French character.

crystal-clear pink wine with fresh and delicate fruit on the nose. It is aromatic, well balanced and appealing.
Dark reddish-purple, this Languedoc red breathes ripe, grapey fruit, raspberry fruits, and fragrant black pepper with a lightly herbaceous 'leafy' back note. Full and luscious on the first taste, its juicy black fruit is nicely balanced by tart, crisp acidity, with soft tannins lurking behind the fruit to create a fresh, mouth-watering flavour - great structure. Very luscious on palate. Finishes on ripe intense black fruit finish - delicious!
A deep velvety red with flavours of blackberry and blackcurrant and just a hint of spice. It is bold, juicy and and well-structured with soft seductive tannins.
