Bertani
Website : www.bertani.netThe history of Bertani is inextricably linked with the development of Amarone as we know it today. The house of Bertani has produced quality wines in the Valpolicella region since the late 1800s, and was instrumental in the production of the earliest dry Amarone in 1958. Today they produce a number of classic examples of Valpolicella and Amarone, as well as some exciting and innovative wines such as ‘Due Uve’ and Bertarose. Their Secco Bertani Valpolicella Classico is one of the finest examples in the region, as well as featuring one of the most stylish labels anywhere! Bertani also nurture one of the largest libraries of amazing old vintages in the region, some of which can be made available on request. Bertani’s Amarone Classico 2003 was awarded the coveted Tre Bicchieri (three glasses) in 2011.
