Sartori

Website : www.sartorinet.com

For more than 100 years the Sartori family has been a leading producer in the Verona area. Belonging to the family’s third generation, Andrea has made great efforts to broaden the reputation of Verona over the years. At the beginning of this century Sartori joined Cantina Sociale Colognola; harnessing a partnership with one of the most important social cooperatives of the region that has taken the company to very different places. Whilst they have a great reputation for quality Veronese wines, it is their production of more unusual styles for the region that has enhanced our interest. They produce great but relatively unknown wines, like Malvasia or Marzemino, together with obscure DOC, such as Custoza, serious red wines including Rosso Veronese and their Appassito can easily compete with the traditional Ripasso and Amarone.
