Bodegas Vallobera
In a beautiful setting of Laguardia in Rioja Alavesa, Javier San Pedro and his assistant winemaker, Pablo Echeverría, concentrate on building an enviable reputation for the very best quality under their Vallobera and San Pedro labels. With 80 hectares of prime vineyards, of which the Vallobera vineyard is the highest, the wines are loaded with ripe fruit and complexity yet with less aggressive tannins maintaining an elegance which Javier sees as the most important factor. Add to this a recently refurbished winery and plenty of ambition, and the result is modern wines of the very highest quality.
