DO Rias Baixas with its green, lush and foggy climate rather contradicts the hot and arid stereotype of Spanish terroir. Equipped with cutting-edge technology, 17-year-old Valminor is one of the more distinguished quality producers of the region. The winery is located next to the Minor estuary in O Rosal, the sub-region famous for its ancient Celtic settlements. The Celtic roots of Valminor are witnessed in their logo, inspired by four Celtic petroglyphs found 10 km from the winery. The symbols represent the four elements needed in winemaking: rain, sun, air and land.
