Beautiful colour with straw-yellow highlights. Abundant fine bubbles. Intense, pleasant on the nose. Fruity at first, then hawthorn-flowery and slightly musky. Pleasant harmony on the palate, good freshness and liveliness. Lingering fruitiness: apple and pear.

The House of Veuve Clicquot is especially proud of its skill in this field. Yellow label is based on traditional blending. It reflects Madame Clicquot's vineyard holdings, and the continuity so dear to the House of Veuve Clicquot. The dominant pinot noir gives the assertive structure typical of the House style. A small proportion of pinot meunier adds to the wine's roundness. Chardonnays contribute elegance and finesse, to achieve the perfect balance required.
