Tasting Note:
One of the best last vintages of Burgundy. Ripe fruit and complex nose of small red fruit, lovely soft texture and a mouthfilling finish.
Vinification Note:
Found at the north end of the Cote d' Or the vineyards are sheltered by the surrounding hills. The vines are planted on a narrow marlstone outcrop, overlaid with silt and scree. Overshadowed by its 5 Grand cru vineyards, Morey St Denis still produces powerful wines with weight and muscle.
