Pork chops with curried apple-onion sauce, blackened game fish fillets steaks with tomatoes with green sauce or rack of lamb with red-currant wine sauce.
Tasting Note:
A light, juicy Beaujolais, loaded with ripe fruit character and aromas of crushed strawberries and forest fruits. Deep ruby red in colour, Brouilly releases aromas of red fruits with a slight vegetal trace. It combines roundness with harmony. Well balanced and full-bodied, it possesses remarkable length in the mouth.
Vinification Note:
Situated at the foot of mount Brouilly, it extends across the widest area of Beaujolais crus, with a surface of 1200 hectares and its annual production is 40,000 hls.The Brouilly appellation is sited at the heart of the vineyard, to the south of the other crus. By virtue of the soil where it grows, Brouilly is a product of different types of soil ranging from dry granite to alluvial earth from the Saône.
