Tasting Note:
Rich, ripe green apple aromas with some hints of macadamia nuts and honey. Soft and rich, ripe, fruity palate, leading to a long, rounded finish.
Detailed Tasting Note:
Vibrant slight straw yellow with hints of green. Rich, ripe green apple aromas, with sweet & fruity, gentle overtones of orchard blossoms, macadamia nuts and honey. On the palate, soft and rich, deep fruit, fat on the middle palate and great extract lead to a long, rich, fat round finish, almost viscous.
'Funky' Tasting Note:
Green apple and macadamia nut aromas with rich, fruity, tropical flavours.
Vinification Note:
Grapes are delicately picked, destalked and pressed. The juice is then cooled to 8 - 10ºC for 4-6 hours. The juice is then cold decanted and inoculated with selected yeast for fermentation between 16 - 18ºC. The wine sees no oak ageing but is left to settle in stainless steel before bottling.
