This Chardonnay has the ability to adapt to most dishes. Capable of extraordinary power, concentration and, at the same time, incredible finesse. With rich pasta, poultry smoked salmon and any kind of seafood.
Tasting Note:
An outstanding Meursault with a deep straw colour, an amazingly complex nose of gun smoke and flint and toasted nuts. The palate is wonderfully rich and complex with elements of cream toasted nuts and more flint and smoke. The finish is wonderfully, long complex and impressive.
Vinification Note:
Meursault is a large and prosperous village in the Côte de Beaune district of Burgundy’s Cote d'Ors. The wines are mostly made from the Chardonnay grape. The quality of white burgundy from Meursault best premiers crus is rarely surpassed. The wine is aged in 20 percent of new oak. Followed by another 5 years in the bottle to get the real style of Meursault.
