Pale yellow in colour, with a steady stream of fine, lively bubbles which form a persistant foam in the glass. Fine and elegant on the nose, with aromas of white flowers, fresh fruit and hints of vanilla. On the palate the wine is powerfull, yet elegant and rounded, complex and with plenty of length and a stylish, very moreish finish.

Grand Brut is a sign of Perrier-Jouet's remarkable expertise, since it was the first Champagne House in history to make a Vintage Champagne, in 1858. Only when the vintage is of exceptional quality is Perrier-Jouet's Grand Brut made, and this year is no exception. The grapes were sourced from the most prestigious crus of La Cote des Blancs, Vallee de la Marne and Montagne de Rheims and showed remarkable concentration and high sugar levels at harvest. Only wine from this vintage is used to make Grand Brut, it is not blended with wine from any other year, or reserve stocks.
