Tasting Note:
Amber, luminous and enveloping. Possessing great aromatic richness, a scent of spices, brioche and pastries, orange and candied friuts. Warm, velvety and persistant, its aromatic shades are backed up with additional apricot friut notes, vanilla and bitter almond.
Vinification Note:
AnticaCuvee is a precise blend of grappasmade from carefully selected, fine pomace,distilled using artisanal stills,and aged in small limousine oak barrels or former sherry barrels.
Fermentation:
In stainless steel tanks under vacuum and in temperature controlled conditions. Followed immediately by distillation in order to avoid harmful secondary fermentations.
Artisanal Distitillation:
Artisanal batch steam stills according to our ancient family tradition, in special exclusive stills renovated by Benito Nonino.The distillation happens very slowly to allow the volatile components, responsible for the perfumes, a proper evaporation period and subsequent condensation,in order to keep intact the precious organoleptic characteristics of the chosen vine varieties.
