Grenache grown in the Barossa Valley of South Australia produces a lively, deliciously light style of red wine packed with fresh juicy raspberry and cherry fruit flavours. Grenache then is the ideal red wine variety for Peter Lehmann’s Chief Winemaker, Andrew Wigan, when he chooses to make a fresh softly textured,
unwooded red wine, perfect for drinking as a lively youngster.
This wine was picked at perfect ripeness from selected vineyards in the Barossa. Crushed, chilled and fermented in stainless steel on the skins to extract a vibrant hue, rich fruit flavours and a little balancing structure.
