Food Matching Note:
A great partner to red meat dishes with rich sauces. Try it with a simple meaty pizza and garlic sauce or Balsamic Lamb Chops with pea puree.
Tasting Note:
An opaque intense, dark purple colour. The nose exposes generous aromas of currents and with a touch of spice. In the mouth, it is medium to full-bodied with a mouthfilling concentration of plum, prune and cassis and a subtle touch of vanilla. It’s Argentinean in style with a soupçon of French elegance. 3 years ageing potential.
Vinification Note:
A lot of sun exposure and limited supply of water allows the vines to grow strong and the grape to reach optimum ripeness before parcels of grapes are selected from the individual sites and quickly transported to winery. Fermentation takes place in temperature controlled stainless steel vats before a short period of oak ageing in barrel.
