Food Matching Note:
The perfect summer drinking wine, and great with full flavoured fish or spicy, Eastern influenced dishes and seafood.
Tasting Note:
Bright cherry red in colour with a vibrant, fresh nose abundant with strawberry and raspberry aromas. The palate is of medium weight and packed with a summer compote of ripe red fruit and there's a dash of pink grapefruit citrus acidity to balance the lushness and keep the wine bright and refreshing.
Vinification Note:
Grapes were hand picked at the beginning of march 2009. After crushing they were pressed and the traditional cold rose fermentation process of saigneé took place in stainless steel tanks.
