Food Matching Note:
This wine speaks for itself and makes a great aperitif. It goes well with foie gras or fruity rich desserts such as a peach tarte tartin or a steamed syrup pudding. Due to its fresh and drier character, the wine will also match cheese and spicy asian foods.
Tasting Note:
Crabapple, pineapple and honey rise from this scrumptious late harvest Riesling. For a late harvest, the wine is shockingly dry giving it energy and primary fruit intensity that should last for at least another ten years.
Vinification Note:
This wine is made from botrytised noble Riesling, hand-selected and from the best vineyards. It is made in only exceptional years and has natural residual sugar (over 30g) which harmonises perfectly with the fresh and acidic character.
