Nose is forest floor-bracken, pine needles, truffles, lovely character of lanolin, bees wax, some hints of lavender, buttery toffee, hot buttered tea cakes, a sweet play-doh note combines to make this Macduff irresistible!
A multi layered palate, kicking off with a green, minty freshness with hints of pine and oak leaf this leads in to a stunning sweetness of melting honey on hot buttered granary toast, the finish is quite earthy with fresh sautéed chanterelle and ceps with a touch of tarragon, truly complex and intriguing.
