  1. 2011 Fleurie La Bonne Dame, Jean Tête

Bright brick red in the glass, with attractive ruby highlights. The nose is forward and fruit driven, overflowing with cranberry and raspberry fruits and a touch of green spiciness. The palate is medium bodied, soft and supple, with good acidity supporting vivid forest fruit flavours. The finish is elegant, dry and poised.

  2. 2011 Beaujolais Villages, Louis Tête

Light purple in colour, with a elegant, fresh intense nose of soft red fruits. The palate is equally open and fleshy with lots of fruit and little tannin. Wonderfully soft and accessible, plenty of character backed by good balancing acidity.

  3. 2009 Gevrey Chambertin En Jouise, Domaine Harmand Geoffroy

The nose at present is fairly typical earthy Burgundian Pinot. It's on the palate, however that the wine's class really shows. Superb richness, freshness and juiciness of fruit. Soft-textured, with great persistence of flavour. Yum! Benefits from decanting.

  4. 2008 Volnay 1er Cru Les Chevrets, Domaine J & H Boillot

Ripe, crushed raspberries and leafy strawberry aromas preceede its dry, poised, elegant palate. There is some fine grained, well integrated tannin that adds structure and a persistant acidity lifts the ripe strawberry fruit flavours into a soft, dry, engaging finish.

  5. 2011 Fleurie, Louis Tête

    2011 Fleurie, Louis Tête

    (12x37.5cl)

Wonderfully perfumed with juicy, ripe sweetness, cherry and chocolate flavours and a raspberry finish, with a touch of spiciness.

  6. 2010 Bourgogne Pinot Noir, Domaine Régis Rossignol Changarnier

Beautifully bright, light, ruby Pinot colour. Wild strawberries on the nose with amazing purity, 12.5% alcohol, and lightness of touch which really speak of a cool climate. Looking for Burgundian elegance? – this is it. However, this wine is no shrinking violet and has fine tannins and high acidity. Some will find this austere on its own, but it really refreshes the palate if drunk with food.

  7. 2008 Volnay 1er Cru, Domaine Régis Rossignol Changarnier

Savoury but with intense fruit that opens up with aeration. Slight element of mineral/gritty character displayed by the village level Volnay. Greater intensity of fruit, which persists excellently on the palate, and balanced, fine-grained tannin. Smokey/savoury character on finish. Superb.

  8. 2009 Charmes Chambertin, La Gibryotte, Famille Dugat

This wine offers plenty of wild berry aromas with undertones of spice and an all round earthiness. Perfumed violets and fresh acid add to the complexity of this delicate yet serious red wine.

  9. 2010 Beaune 1er Cru Les Theurons, Domaine Régis Rossignol Changarnier

Transparent red colour. Musky, chocolaty fruit; slightly mature-smelling. Real development of fruit aroma in the glass over time. On the palate, sweet, delicate fruit, slightly gamey. Excellent length, subtle fruit, light tannin.

  10. 2010 Clos Vougeot Grand Cru, Domaine Laurent Roumier

Big, roasted nose combines ripe cherry, chocolate, liquorice, mint and spicy oak. Large-scaled, fat, rich and sweet, with a mouth filling texture. Low in acidity but seemed to grow fresher with air. Finishes rather suave, with considerable chocolaty oak and very good aromatic persistence.
