A really superb sparkling Loire, dry but not aggressive, produced from Chenin Blanc in the small village of Martigne-Briand, close to the town of Saumur. The wine has a beautifully fragrant English late summer fruits bouquet (apples and pears) and is clean, fresh and lively on the palate, a great alternative to Champagne.

An intense salmon pink colour and fine mousse; the nose is crisp and elegant, dominated by strawberries with a hint of toast. It’s bright and lively in the mouth with good fruit, good acidity and a long-lasting finish.

Delicate floral aromas of lilac and lavender from the grape, coupled with a subtle toasty oak bouquet, create a sparkling wine well suited for a Sunday brunch, evening dinner party or any festive celebration.
