    Intense red berry aromas, leathery and mineral notes. Good concentration on the palate, warm and very intense; tannins are still quite dense and firm; long finish, rich aromatic flavours. Perfectly balanced giving a harmonious result.

    Herby with redcurrants and pomegranite. The ripe southern fruitiness is kept savoury by the flavours of the mountainside. Soft tannins, medium body and mellow acidity.

    Ruby red colour with violet hues. Fruity, fragrant, forthcoming bouquet, with notes of cherry, red current and apricot. Soft yet persistent palate, well balanced acidity and tannins.

    Deep garnet-red with a slightly woody and toasted nose and aromas of prunes and liquorice. Fleshy, robust and well-balanced in the mouth with a firm, lengthy finish.

    Deep and rich in colour, almost opaque with an intense nose of spice, chocolate and plums. On the palate the wine is well balanced with ripe, spicy fruit and a savoury character. The finish is long and elegant.

    A deep, dark cherry-coloured with extraordinary intensity and complexity. Blackberries and floral notes are detected first on the nose. The fruit is well-integrated with the wood, displaying spicy aromas from the French oak; cinnamon, leather, tobacco, truffle and black liquorice. Sweet, smooth tannins coat the palate and the mouth is full-bodied and persistant with an array of complex flavours.

  9. 2009 Cumaro, Rosso Conero, Umani Ronchi

    Ruby-red core, with garnet hues and an intense, full, ethereal and very persistent bouquet. The palate is harmonious, with hints of wild cherry and fruits of the forest.

  10. 2010 Château Le Boscq, St. Estephe

    This is a pretty, elegant wine, with attractive berry and cherry aromas. It is medium bodied with silky tannins and a long fleshy finish.
