  1. 2010 Shiraz, Madfish
    redwine

    2010 Shiraz, Madfish

    (6x75cl)

A rich, dark, cherry red wine with great colour density. The wine displays aromas of black pepper spice, ripe plum compote, five spice powder and toasty oak. This full-bodied wine is driven by concentrated fruit flavours of chocolate and black cherries, subtle savoury textures and fine, soft tannins.

  2. 2013 Marzemino delle Venezie Villa Mura, Sartori

Bright red in colour with an intense bouquet reminiscent of violets and strawberry, it is smooth and mellow on the palate.

  3. 2013 El Mago Organic Garnacha, Franck Massard

This moderately ruby/purple-hued wine exhibits complex aromas of liquorice, roasted herbs, sweet cassis and cherries, smoked meat, and spices. A light style of Garnacha offering an elegant, surprisingly silky and vibrant wine.

  4. 2012 Cabernet, Painter Bridge

Deep purple in colour with fragrant aromas of red and black cherries and blackcurrants. The palate is medium bodied with a good concentration of blackberry and cassis fruit flavours. Finishes soft, round and juicy.

  5. 2013 La Copa de Bobal, Bodegas Covinas

La Copa de Bobal is a deep purple with a herbaceous nose and a juicy palate displaying well-integrated tannin and lovely black cherry and plum fruit profile

  6. 2012 Organic Pinot Noir, Urlar

An enticing nose of ripe red fruits which combine beautifully with flavours of sweet dark plums intermingled with savoury notes and exotic spices. This wine is elegant and refined but with real weight and power.

  7. 2009 The Cenosilicaphobic Cat Sagrantino Cinsault, d'Arenberg

The nose has a dominant dried herb character and savoury nuances of saltbush, red currant leaf and a hint of black tea.
Dried herbs also run through the palate from the attack right through to the fruit tannins on the finish. There is wonderful depth with red cherries and layers of rich coffee, dark chocolate and nicely integrated oak. The Cinsault component is harmonious and provides lift, softness, fine minerality and bright acidity. The chalky fruit tannins are prominent and vibrant as typical for Sagrantino.

  8. 2010 The Derelict Vineyard Grenache, d'Arenberg

A concentrated wine with great depth and complexity by any standard. Oozing purple fruits, plums, blackcurrant and mulberry with just a hint of wild raspberry. These sweet fruits are countered by a raft of savoury notes, ranging from soil and meat through to cedar and nutmeg. The tannins are precisely sculpted, reminiscent of finely crushed china.

  9. 2012 Footprint Merlot Pinotage, African Wines

Made with an equal blend of Merlot and Pinotage the wine has a deep ruby red colour and a nose of berry fruits with hints of liquorice and spice. The palate is round and smooth with red berry and ripe plum flavours. Supple tannins and well balanced acidity with persistent aftertaste.

  10. 2011 Merlot, Ken Forrester Wines

Hints of cherries and mint with meat-spice and smoky undertones. Softly rounded & accessible wine with balanced tannins for early drinking.
