  1. 2010 Barolo, Vigna Mosconi DOCG, Conterno Fantino

    A deep garnet ruby red, with a powerful, lingering nose conjuring up fruits of the forest and dog-roses. A dry taste, backed with body.

  2. 2012 Regolo Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso, Sartori

    Ruby red colour with garnet hues; intense and persistent aromas; on the palate, full bodied, dry and velvety, with black-cherry flavour and dried fruit on the lingering finish.

  3. 2011 Gravello Rosso, Librandi

    Gravello is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Gaglioppo, it was the first red from Calabria to win the coveted Tre Bicchieri award from Gambero Rosso. It is deep red in colour, with a powerful perfume of cedar and cassis. The palate is extremely rich and complex with blackcurrant and blackberry fruits married to tobacco, spice and great concentration. The tannins provide great structure to the wine but are supple and ripe.

    Intensely aromatic with notes of violets. Well balanced on the palate with classic Chianti character.

  5. 2010 Taurasi DOCG Vigna Macchia dei Goti

    This is an intense and complex wine with aromas of red berry fruits on the nose and hints of vanilla and licorice appear on the palate along with wild straberries and cranberries.

  6. 2013 Chianti Gi Scudi, Cecchi

    Chianti Cecchi is characterised by a red ruby colour, which tends towards garnet red when aged. On the nose it is intensely aromatic with notes of violets. On the palate it is well balanced with the classic signature of Chianti which make it such a good match with food.

  7. 2013 Barbera d'Alba DOC Raimonda, Fontanafredda

    Deep garnet in colour with a subtle nose of red berry fruit. Soft and elegant on the palate with fine ripe tannin and a complex finish.

  8. 2012 Dolcetto di Diano d'Alba DOC, La Lepre, Fontanafredda

    Deep ruby-red with very marked violet hue. The fine, fruity bouquet is very persistent with clear-cut overtones of plums and cherries. The palate is pleasantly dry, and its strong almondy after taste brings out its fullness and velvety stuffing with slight tannins, making for a highly agreeable, fine balance.

  9. 2012 Carignano del Sulcis, Grotta Rossa, Santadi

    Mature, gamey nose, almost Pinot in style but the palate is fuller and serious. Delicate violet notes on the nose followed by attractive, violet fruit. Delicately made. Toffee smells on the nose and a pleasant palate with slightly ageing fruit and interesting flavour of mushroom on the finish. Complex, deep and delicious blend of tarry blackcurrant fruit with underlying richness of dried fig.

    "The 2010 Barolo Mosconi, the estate's first wine from this south-facing site in Monforte, is showing beautifully today. In this cold, late-ripening vintage, the south exposition and richness typical of this site give the Mosconi a level of mid-palate pliancy and richness the other 2010 Barolos don't have. Mosconi has never given Barolos of finesse or elegance, but this is just about as good as it gets. 95 points", Antonio Galloni
