    Abundance of red fruits like plum aromas, ripe blackberry typical of western Sicily Nero d’Avola blended with scents of cocoa, and almost Sacher cake. Soft tannins and roundness characterize the wine.

    The nose is full of vibrant fresh fruit including plum, raspberry, currant and cranberry with varietal spice and a lovely violet overtone providing a delicate touch.
    The elegant palate adds rhubarb to the fruit spectrum with a very attractive pink muck nuance emerging on the mid palate with a second layer of earth and dried herbs providing a savoury kick. The lively acidity is linear and focused and a real feature. The tannins have good weight and build through the palate with a handsome presence on the long finish.

    Deep garnet-red with a slightly woody and toasted nose and aromas of prunes and liquorice. Fleshy, robust and well-balanced in the mouth with a firm, lengthy finish.

    Dark cherry colour with good depth. Balsamic aromas with hints of ripe fruit. The attack is fresh and light, with soft, rounded tannins. Spicy and complex, the finish is persistent with subtle toasted oak character. Elegant, fresh and easy to drink.

    Medium/full-bodied, exceptionally complex with aromas of bacon, black cherries, liquorice, pencil lead, raspberry jam, a smokiness and dry toast. On the palate one can find a balanced acidity, integrated oak, modest tannins and cocoa powder, coffee, mushroom, peat moss, plum flavours jam, smoky.

  9. 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon, Cannonball

    Balance in the mouth is exceptional from start to finish - strawberry, blueberry, and red apple dipped in dark chocolate, all-spice and a layer of toasted oak. Tannins are structured but not overwhelming, with very well balanced acidity.

  10. 2014 Nero d'Avola, MandraRossa

    A ruby red colour, with bright intensity. Fresh winy varietals with good vanilla flavours. Soft and warm, with silky and sweet tannins.
