    Rocca Rubia 12 Santadi 6/75

    (6x75cl)

Rich, ripe nose, almost perfumed wine with a delicious creamy character on the palate and bags of soft ripe blackcurrant fruit. The acidity is all there, balanced against soft, full tannins and there is great structure and mouthfeel. Succulent, round and complex.

  2. Pelago 10 AVUR 6/75

    Pelago 10 AVUR 6/75

    (6x75cl)

Impenetrable ruby red colour with purple tints. On the nose there are spicy fragrances of coffee, black pepper, liquorice and tobacco. The palate is fruits of the forest, vanilla and mineral aromas, and strong but developed tannins.

  3. CNDP Piedlong 11 La Roquete 6/75

This exquisite Grenache-dominant Châteauneuf-du-Pape is sourced from the Plateau du Piedlong, one of the highest points of this world famous appellation. The 70 year old vines produce a spicy red which has aromas of raspberry, cherry, white pepper and dried violet. The full bodied palate asserts itself with flavours of dark cherry and bitter chocolate that align themselves with hints of blueberry, lavender and porcini. The fine balance of tannin, acidity and concentrated fruits mean this wine will keep on evolving in the glass and in the bottle.

  4. Gevrey Chambertin 13 L Boillot 6/75

Medium/full-bodied, exceptionally complex with aromas of bacon, black cherries, liquorice, pencil lead, raspberry jam, a smokiness and dry toast. On the palate one can find a balanced acidity, integrated oak, modest tannins and cocoa powder, coffee, mushroom, peat moss, plum flavours jam, smoky.

  5. Gev Chamb Evocelles 13 L Boillot 6/75

The bouquet exudes oak and charm. Rich and mouthfilling with great persistence. The fullness hides the steely core at first. Approachable young but worth keeping.

  6. Cuarto Dom. Malbec 12 Cuarto Dominio 6/7

Cuarto Dominio is the expression of 2 very small and different lots in the San Carlos vineyard, at 900 meters over sea level. The difference between these 2 parcels basically comes from the soil composition. Lot A with only 2 Hectares has 70% sand, 15% lime and 15% clay while Lot B with a tiny dimension of 1.4 hectares has 90% sand, 10% lime and a big percentage of surface stones. While Lot A lends ripe plum and chocolate flavours, a very soft and supple mouthfeel with excellent structure and length, Lot B offers more blackberry fruit with a slight earthy mineral tone and notes of spicy black pepper, exceptional concentration and explosive floral aromatic.

  7. Wild Pixie Shiraz 11 d'Arenberg 6/75

Do not be mislead by the name, this wine is far from Pixie-ish. On the contrary it is a dark, concentrated and structured beast that needs more than one look to understand its true value. Initially it appears savoury and spicy with a whiff of funkiness (perhaps "wild" is somewhat appropriate), think fennel, black olive, bitter chocolate and earth. Given a moment to relax in the glass, we are struck by the nuances of sweeter fruit, plums, blackberries and mulberries that build. Layer upon layer of flavour carried along by a wave of mouth watering tannin that draws you in for another look.

  8. Morellino di Scan Ris 10 Val d Rose 6/75

Val delle Rose Morellino di Scansano Reserva is produced by the Cecchi family in Maremma, a land where the warm Tuscan sun and cooling sea breezes emphasise the unique characteristics of the classic Sangiovese grape. This rich, fragrant wine has inviting aromas of dark cherry and dried mountain herbs, alongside hints of clove and vanilla spice. 12 months in oak has lent a smoothness to the structure and seamlessness to the crunchy red and black fruit flavours, ably balanced by supple tannins and crisp acidity.

  9. Chianti Cla Ris DOCG 11 Villa Cerna 6/75

Villa Cerna is an estate that has its roots in the Middle Ages and is today run by the famous Cecchi family of Tuscany. Chianti Classico Riserva is produced only in the best vintages - the carefully selected Sangiovese fruit from the estate’s finest plots, together with 24 months ageing in barrique and bottle, creating a harmonious blend of delicate floral aromas, refreshing acidity, and integrated tannins. Dark cherry, plum, dried flowers and spices all vie for attention on the nose and palate – a wine to savour with the very best cheeses, roast meats and game.

  10. Chianti Cl. DOCG 12 Villa Cerna 6/75

The centuries-old relationship between the Cecchi family and Castellina in Chianti is the origin of Villa Cerna Chianti Classico. This fresh, modern style of Chianti has a vivid ruby colour that leads to an intensely floral bouquet of violet and iris over plum, cherry and spice. Silky tannins give a smooth mouth feel to the rich, perfumed flavours of dark cherry and dried flowers, while the mouthwatering acidity lends a refreshing quality to the stylish, dark fruit.
