  1. 2011 Mas de Lunes Rouge, Ctx du Languedoc

    Bright ruby with complex hints of red berries, spice, coconut and vanilla. Well-integrated tannins with sun-drenched fruit and echoes of the "garrigue".

  2. 2013 Dolcetto d'Alba DOC, Vigna Nirane, Ascheri

    Ruby red colour with violet hues. Fruity, fragrant, forthcoming bouquet, with notes of cherry, red current and apricot. Soft yet persistent palate, well balanced acidity and tannins.

  3. 2011 Merlot Stellenbosch, Thelema

    Deep, brooding purple in colour with some brick red highlights. The nose has pretty red-fruit characters with some hints of spices such as cinnamon and liquorice. The palate is juicy, broad and ripe, packed with red and black berry fruits, a firm, well integrated oaky structure and a bold, well defined finish which makes it a great food wine.

  4. 2011 Vinha Maria Teresa, Quinta do Crasto

    This very special wine is only made in outstanding vintages and incorporates up to 30 different grape varieties in the final blend. The wine has an intense, vibrant violet colour which leads to a deep, complex nose full of wild forest flowers, white pepper and soft dark chocolate aromas. It is a full bodied, richly flavoured wine with superb tannins, refreshing acidity and concentrated fruit.

  5. 2009 The Sticks and Stones Tempranillo Blend, d'Arenberg

    To taste this exotic mix of Iberian varieties is to embark upon a tantalizing journey of the senses. The nose exhibits an enticing mix of red, black and purple fruits such as plum, blackcurrant and dark cherry truffle. There is another layer of secondary aromas though, that makes this a seriously complex wine, mushrooms, autumn leaves and earth.
    A similar theme is found on the palate with flavours of red licorice, spice and peat all evident. The hallmark of this vintage though is a rhubarb, ironstone-like note that adds an incredible core of mineral tannins and bright acidity. The wine is both lively and complex at the same time.

  6. 2011 Montefalco Rosso,Tenuta Albaruta, Cecchi

    Montefalco Rosso has an intense ruby red colour, with evident shades of purple. Its open, ethereal aroma evokes autumnal jams, with hints of blackberries and blackcurrants. It has a broad, harmonious flavour and is full-bodied to the taste, with a pleasant, persistent fruitiness.

  7. 2013 La Garenne Syrah, IGP Pays d'Oc

    This deeply coloured Syrah has attractive cherry and pepper flavours which are offset by the wine's meaty and bitter chocolate aromas. Fullish palate with a great length, well-balanced and keen structure throughout.

  8. 2010 Barolo, Vigna Mosconi DOCG, Conterno Fantino

    A deep garnet ruby red, with a powerful, lingering nose conjuring up fruits of the forest and dog-roses. A dry taste, backed with body.

  9. 2012 Château d'Arsac Cru Bourgeois, Margaux

    Intense garnet-red in colour with a toasty, smoky nose, opening up to reveal a generous bouquet of red fruits. Silky and seductive palate, structured but rounded, with a concentrated middle and a flourish of vanilla and blackcurrant on the finish.

  10. 2004 Rioja 150th Anniversary Gran Reserva, Riscal

    Marqués de Riscal 150 Aniversario is a dark-cherry coloured wine with brick red hues. Its aroma is complex and balsamic, with burnt wood and hints of spices such as black pepper and cinnamon. It has an oily mouth-feel, with good backbone and concentration of tannins, round and supple with a long, silky finish.
