    Dense purple in colour with bright brick red highlights. Powerfully aromatic, showing concentrated stone fruit aromas such as plums and prunes with a hint of spicy oak. The palate is medium to full bodied with a stylish balance between dense black fruit flavours, tightly knit fine grained tannin and judicious use of oak. Finishes firm and grippy - perfect for drinking with red meat!

  6. 2010 Château Bertinat Lartigue, Saint Emilion

    Gorgeously deep ruby colour, the wine boasts red fruit and a supple, rounded mouthfeel, and will hit its peak after 2-3 years in bottle. A classic Saint Emilion.

    Very deep ruby for Gamay. Black cherries, licquorice and spices on the nose. Pinot Noir structure on the palate with licquorice, blackberries, cocoa, very fine tannins and a "croquant" vein of acidity keeping the wine super fresh.

    Medium/full-bodied, exceptionally complex with aromas of bacon, black cherries, liquorice, pencil lead, raspberry jam, a smokiness and dry toast.     A very opulent and stylish Pommard with concentrated black cherry fruit and toasted spices.

  10. 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon, Cannonball

    Balance in the mouth is exceptional from start to finish - strawberry, blueberry, and red apple dipped in dark chocolate, all-spice and a layer of toasted oak. Tannins are structured but not overwhelming, with very well balanced acidity.
