  1. 2011 Pinot Noir Lot 21, Vina Leyda

This delicate Pinot Noir is complex and elegant, with fine aromas of strawberry, cherry, orange peel and herbs, which combines perfectly with oak. Red berries, fresh and sweets are the first flavours in the palate, then cherries and soft tannins which linger in a long and persistent finish.

  2. 2012 Reserve Shiraz, Tooma River, Warburn Estate

Shiraz has found its natural home in the sun kissed Australian vineyard, where it produces a ripe, fruit forward style loved for its immediate approachability. Our Reserve Shiraz is no exception, with a rich nose redolent with red and black berry aromas and a smooth, textured palate dripping with juicy dark fruits, hints of chocolate and lively spices.

  3. 2010 Valpolicella Classico Ripasso, Acinatico DOC, Accordini

Intense ruby red with a bouquet of red cherries, spice and vanilla. Full bodied on the palate, warming, fruit-forward with juicy cherries and a floral twist.

  4. 2012 Pinot Nero Classici DOC, Colterenzio

Brilliant medium ruby with a fresh, fruity nose, aromatic with hints of red currants and black cherry; medium-bodied, round with soft tannins and ripe berry flavours supported by refreshing palate-lifting acidity. A stylish and elegant wine rather than full-bodied and muscular.

  5. 2009 Billi Billi Shiraz, Mount Langi Ghiran

Dense and tight, with finely structured tannins building on the palate. The wine is tightly wound and restrained with years to go before its full savoury and fruit complexity shines through.

  6. 2008 Salice Salentino Riserva, Francesco Candido

Robust and rustic with dried fruit (fig/prune) flavours accompanied by a creamy bitter-chocolate character, balanced by moderate acidity and smoky oak, with superb length.

  7. 2010 Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Jorio, Umani Ronchi

Deep ruby red, recalls plums and red cherries on the nose, followed by balsamic and salty notes on a background of ripe liquorice. With eloquent and clean tannins in the mouth, it comes across as full and vigorous, with a long and intense finish.

  8. 2012 Crozes Hermitage, Cuvée Laurent, Domaine Combier

Almost opaque with a purple hue, this is classic syrah from the Northern Rhone. Rich and spicy on the nose with an underlying savoury quality, the palate is rich and spicy too,
with ripe approachable tannins. The finish is long, smooth and velvety.

  9. 2012 Carmenere, Vina Falernia

Fairly deep red with a pale rim. Very sweet ripeness on the nose, possibly red gooseberry jam and a
hint of green pepper. Ripe fruit on palate with soft texture.

  10. 2011 Fleurie Poncié, Domaine du Vissoux

Shiny crimson with deep purple tints.Nose - delicate and floral, fully blown rose, peony, violet. Palate - the silky Poncié tannins give suppleness, delicacy and elegance. Really flavourful. Over and above red fruit, you will find notes of toast and undergrowth with an end that is often peppery.
