  1. 2009 Morgenster Estate Red, Morgenster

Dark plum, concentrated centre and opaque to the edges. Enticing with almonds, coffee and sweet caramel, and alluring sniffs of cassis and vanilla pods. Great freshness with hits of blackberry sweetness. Elegant entry, very plush and immediately filling. Sweeter dark berry fruit very evident, which contributes well to balancing the minerality which adds a lot of weight.

  2. 2011 La Barry Red, Martin Meinert

A wine for every day that offers just that little bit more. It has a lovely mid-palate fullness which belies its status, yet the finish is gentle and fresh.

  3. 2009 Château Lamothe Bergeron, Cru Bourgeois, Haut-Médoc

Fine rounded plum fruit on the nose. Warm plush cassis fruit with a hint of oak. Nice balance and length.

  4. 2013 Château La Croix de Queynac, Cordier

This very fresh and fruity Bordeaux red offers violet notes, candied red berry aromas, fresh tannins and a juicy taste of blackcurrant and blackberries.

  5. 2011 Merlot, Ken Forrester Wines

Hints of cherries and mint with meat-spice and smoky undertones. Softly rounded & accessible wine with balanced tannins for early drinking.

  6. 2011 Château Bertinat Lartigue, Saint Emilion

Gorgeously deep ruby colour, the wine boasts red fruit and a supple, rounded mouthfeel, and will hit its peak after 2-3 years in bottle. A classic Saint Emilion.

  7. 2013 Merlot, De Gras

    2013 Merlot, De Gras

    (6x75cl)

Intense, deep red in colour with an explosively fruity, varietal nose of ripe plums with fresh mint notes. The palate is mouth filling, with ripe raspberries and blackcurrants on the palate. Shows a firm structure, with good depth and soft tannins, a distinctly Chilean style.

  8. 2012 Château La Tuilerie des Combes, Lussac St. Emilion

Beautifully developed garnet-red in colour. Shows a very ripe nose of concentrated fruits of the forest and a dense palate reminiscent of black cherries and chocolate with pretty notes of liquorice and eucalyptus. The typicaly bordelaise structure is flexible, with soft, rounded tannins that bring a balance and add length to the palate which finishes dry and clean.

  9. 2011 Vin de Pays de la Principauté d'Orange, Domaine de la Janasse

A beautiful example of Southern French grape varieties; rich in colour with ripe, red fruit, well-married tannins and herbaceous, spicy flavours full of southern warmth.
