    redwine

    2009 Burdese, Planeta

    (6x75cl)

Intense red berry aromas, leathery and mineral notes. Good concentration on the palate, warm and very intense; tannins are still quite dense and firm; long finish, rich aromatic flavours. Perfectly balanced giving a harmonious result.

  2. 2014 Petit Pinotage, Ken Forrester Wines

Classic Pinotage aromas of spicy mulberries, plum pudding and cherries, with more subtle hints of smoky bacon. Juicy and accessible with a soft palate and delicious fruit concentration.

  3. 2012 Ladies who shoot their Lunch Shiraz, Fowles Wine

A deep ripe mulberry colour, displaying glints of youthful purple at the rim. Intensely floral aromas of pepper and spice play with rich red fruits. Palate is full bodied and complex with silky tannins and a generous length of flavour.

  4. 2013 Reserve Cabernet, Tooma River, Warburn Estate

Grown in the warm, sun drenched Australian vineyard, Cabernet Sauvignon produces a distinctive, full bodied and generous style. This Reserve Cabernet is a great example, showing luxuriant blackcurrant aromas with hints of mint and delivering a powerful, concentrated palate of ripe blackcurrant and fig flavours, finishing supple and textured.

  5. 2012 Seven Oaks Cabernet Sauvignon, J. Lohr

Dark ruby-red in colour with aromas of cherry, blackcurrant, blueberry and violets. The bouquet is an elegant blend of vanilla, chocolate, truffles, cedar and thyme. Showing ripe and velvety soft tannins with a plump structure supported by good acidity that balances the ripe fruit and helps create an elegant and lengthy palate.

  6. 2013 Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Bianchi, Umani Ronchi

Medium bodied and dry and with a finely textured structure to support the ripe plummy fruit.

  7. 2010 Barolo DOCG Sorano, Ascheri

A garnet red colour. Ethereal bouquet, intense tar with a scent of dried flowers and a mineral note. A rich palate, balance and mature tannins contribute to its harmoney, distinction and intensity. A remarkably classy wine, with exceptional richness and tipicity.

  8. 2012 Malbec/Cabernet Sauvignon Corte B, Vistalba

Intense red colour with ruby and black refections. Aromas of ripped red fruits, dry fruits, smoke, cassis and cloves.

  9. This exquisite Grenache-dominant Châteauneuf-du-Pape is sourced from the Plateau du Piedlong, one of the highest points of this world famous appellation. The 70 year old vines produce a spicy red which has aromas of raspberry, cherry, white pepper and dried violet. The full bodied palate asserts itself with flavours of dark cherry and bitter chocolate that align themselves with hints of blueberry, lavender and porcini. The fine balance of tannin, acidity and concentrated fruits mean this wine will keep on evolving in the glass and in the bottle.

  10. 2011 La Chapelle d'Escurac, Château d'Escurac

Ripe Bordeaux aromas of blackberry and touch of oak lift out of the glass. Mid weight tannins and grip give roundness and balance to the wine.
