A vibrant and fresh colour, with purple hues. Intense aromas of fruits of the forest, blackberries and raspberries. A medium bodied palate which is rich in wild berry characters. The wine finishes with great length, balance and texture.

Deep ruby red in the glass, it's bold and juicy with red-berry fruit flavours and a touch of sweet oak spice. Deliciously moreish.

The Shiraz Cabernet blend is an Australian classic, delivering an approachable and easily enjoyable style. Generous red and black fruit aromas precede a soft and supple palate packed with blackberry and cherry flavours with hints of spice. Finishing smooth and rounded, this is ideal as a partner to pizza, pasta and red meat and is fruit forward enough to be a satisfying drink by itself.
-
Balance in the mouth is exceptional from start to finish - strawberry, blueberry, and red apple dipped in dark chocolate, all-spice and a layer of toasted oak. Tannins are structured but not overwhelming, with very well balanced acidity.
-
Ruby red colour with garnet reflections. Full bodied bouquet, with a delicate violet scent. Dry on the palate, yet velvety, harmonious and very persistent at the same time. Very well balanced, with distinct class and style.
-
Exhibits a dense, almost opaque colour with gorgeous up-front, sweet, ripe fruit. The palate is medium to full bodied and chewy with a well endowed, plush texture. The wine is pure, complex and engaging.
-
Abundance of red fruits like plum aromas, ripe blackberry typical of western Sicily Nero d’Avola blended with scents of cocoa, and almost Sacher cake. Soft tannins and roundness characterize the wine.

Shiraz has found its natural home in the sun kissed Australian vineyard, where it produces a ripe, fruit forward style loved for its immediate approachability. Our Reserve Shiraz is no exception, with a rich nose redolent with red and black berry aromas and a smooth, textured palate dripping with juicy dark fruits, hints of chocolate and lively spices.

Concentrated and full-bodied, the 2009 Merlot is a study in contrasts. Subtle and silky, yet bright and intense, this deep red wine is multifaceted. Black raspberry and dark cherry greet the nose, while the brighter fruit of ripe summer plum dazzles the palate. The toast and spice of twelve months in American oak seamlessly integrate with the tannin structure of this wine, leaving a long, lingering finish.

The Vieilles Vignes is made from equal quantities of Cabernet and Tannat and aged in new oak barrels. A more approachable wine than the Cuvee du Couvent, and an excellent partner to roasted meats.
